Hi! wa jus few daes ago i was quite free... now busy liao. Thx to the AMA projects and piano...
wa todae el oral... ok loh... a bit nervous cos i first time first one to go. reading ok la... except i kept frowning maybe cos cant process the wrds fast enough quite a bit stumbles... den the picture also ok loh... except suddenly loss of vocabs... so use simple el loh... also el not fluent... die die die. conversion no nd to say. i was surprised dat my fren next class can hear me... i scared cher cannot hear ma... so paiseh. overall can pass la. :P
den todae piano my cher tell me dat i did very well for my prac exam. i was like really meh, merit nia... den she say many grade 4 ppl fail n some merely passed. n i got a merit instead of a credit... finally my hardwork has paid off! not really la... i jus strive for my best loh. i also not those hardworking ones. :P I jus practice wen i have the time to, like 1h 3 daes per wk. i was surprised wen she told me dat i am suppose to practice for a few hrs everyday. wa i so busy liao like dat will sian diao. anw for me if i repeat too many times my standard gets lousier so i play few times loh.
Den todae move on to grade 6 theory. she say theres a big jump. i think i noe wad she means, its like from sec2 to sec3 like dat. i see the chapters in 1 bk 10plus topic wanna faint liao. plus its only 1 bk. still have 4 more can die liao. Its theory of music, not theory for piano, dats y... no wonder for a smartguy like me nd plus minus 1yr. i humble hor! is she say other ppl lower grade nd 1yr den i within half a yr. wa so proudofme. :P
another scary thing wasi had to break up my lessons into 2 daes, 1 for theory de other 1 forprac. sian... i was telling her my priority is theory so i wan 1 dae, if no time go lesser on prac. but after comparing the prices which is $290 for 1dae combine lesson and $350 for 2 dae lessons, if u calculate properly, the $350 more worth it cos 2 lessons only plus $60, but if u wan $290, den 2 lessons wud be $580, almost double. so i decide to take 2 lessons however busy. den also can cover topics faster, finish faster pay less money. but as grade increase, the fee also increase. wa lao my cher say family(me, bro and sis) have discount $10nia! we help her save transport fee leh n give her job shud discount $100 ma! No wonder she so rich go overseas now n den. wa my parents pitiful.
